Cut costs

I personally love to have the house very cold when I am sleeping. I know some might think it is silly but I can not sleep if the house is to cold. I actually like to turn the heat down to about sixty two degrees and that is my perfect sleeping temperature. I have gotten used to it being really low but actually I would like to have it even lower than that but I worry about the kids being super cold because they are always kicking their blankets off during the night. I was checking into getting them heated mattress pads for their beds to keep them warm while still allowing me to have it cold in the house. They are not very expensive and they even make ones specially designed for children's beds. I have heard that if you keep a heated pad on your bed and lower the temperature of your house you can really save on heating costs. That is not really why I wanted the pads it was more because I like sleeping in the cold but saving money also is a plus. It is also a way I can have a piece of mind that the kids wont be cold.
