Getting Ready

Well first thing I did this morning was to take a shower. I want to make sure that my hair was dry before I was walking the streets in Chicago. It always takes hours for it to dry and I did not want to be super cold there with wet hair. Ken is working a little bit of over time today but just until 10:00am. Then he is going to come home while I do a few errands before we get ready to go. I can not wait because it has been so long since we have been to Chicago. We did take the kids when Maddie as really little but have not been there since then. I know ti will be super cold but the stores are always open to warm up in and we always sip on some hit chocolate to keep warm. We have arranged to drop the kids off at my parents house about 3:00pm and then we will be off to the train station. That is what I am a little worried about. I always hate taking the train even when I am not pregnant and now with my motion sickness I hope that can handle it without getting sick. After the parade we will be eating at a pizza place and that is what I am most worried about. I won't eat before the train ride so it might be better but afterwards is another story. Driving is not an option however there will just be to many people.
