Welcome to Ken and I's new bedroom. I have to say these pictures were taken a few weeks ago and I was really impressed at the work that Ken has completed doing it all alone. He had a friend helping him put up the dry wall. He was very thankful that he helped him because he said there was no way that he could have done it alone. It takes to much to hold the big piece up and to screw it in at the same time. So as I have said these pictures are a few weeks old and I or Ken have not yet taken updates photos of his progress. However I though that he was doing great back then well that is nothing compared to how it is looking now. It is coming so fast and so nice. I can not wait till it is finished. It really is going to be a great new room for us to have. It looks so big compared to our room now even with the slanted ceilings. Just looking at the pictures really impresses me at how much Ken knows how to do. He is such a determined person. If he does not know how to do things he will figure it out by reading a book or look it up all by his self. He can always figure almost everything out. That for sure is one thing that I love about him, his determination. He is always so busy working overtime and what not but he still manages to get these huge projects completed. Every weekend the room upstairs looks totally different. Not to mention he always has the kids up there and never fails to let them help out even if it makes more work for him in the long run. He always tries to teach Ben and Maddie along the way. Even if they don't fully understand it I really think it helps to still teach them many different things. So since today is Friday I am sure he will be up there plugging away at this task. By the time the weekend is over it will again look so much different. We may even have to pick out our paint colors!
