Me do it

Well Madison is not yet two and a half and about three months ago she has already entered the "me do it" stage of her little life. She has to do everything all by herself and does not want any help. Surely it shows an independent child however I have to work on my patience while waiting even longer for her to get things done. She insists on fully dressing herself all the way from her underwear to her winter jacket. She likes to put on her own shirt and pants along with her shoes. It has always been a stage that Ken and I have not been very good at accepting because they can take a lot of extra time that sometimes you just do not have. I know this stage last for quite a while so we may as well get used to it. We just have to remember to always allow extra time to let her do things on her own.
