Well as many of you know via my facebook our little baby was born on June 4th. I was kind of expecting that he would be because of the NST that I was having but it was just a matter of waiting until the Dr thought he would be ready. For the last couple weeks every time I had an NST the Dr would send me to the hospital because eon the machine it would show up that I was having contractions. He would have to keep me at the hospital and give me IV fluid to help my uterus settle down. Since I have had a c-section that do not like you to really contract in case your uterus should rupture. I guess when this happens the baby will die instantly and you would be in great risk also. So for the last couple weeks every time I had the NST test done I would get sent to the hospital. The last time I went I even needed to stay the night because my contractions were coming every two minutes. I could not feel the contractions for the most part only a couple now and then and they were not painful. However I needed to have six IV bags of fluid and three shots to stop them. Then they finally stopped. Well the next week when I went back to his office he was pretty sure that it was going to happen again so he told me to just go to the hospital in the morning and he would do the NST test but to not eat because since I have already been stopped a few times and since the baby was older he would deliver it.
When I got to the hospital he was right and I was again contracting. The Dr was already at the hospital and told the nurse to call surgery and see when they could take me. Well it turned out they could take me instantly. So within ten minutes I was prepped and in the surgery room. I was very nervous but everything was going so fast that I really could not even process it at that point. An hour later our little baby was born.
