Aidan Four Months

Well my sweet little baby boy is for sure growing super fast. I can not believe that he is already four months old. He had his appointment last week and he weighed in at a 14.8 pounds almost exactly double his birth weight. He was also 25 and 1/4 inches long. A whole five inches longer than he was just four months ago. He is doing everything right on time including smiling and rolling over. The Doc said he looks like he is doing great. One thing he absolutely loves is the swing. He will sit in there and sleep or just check out the toys that are hanging in front of him.
He is also starting to grab at toys. The doctor said I can start him on rice cereal as soon as I want since he is four months now. I always choose to start at six months however. I did the same with the other two kids. The American Academy of Pediatrics says anywhere from four to six months. Starting earlier can give the kids weight problems when they get older. I always choose to wait till later. I also don't really think he is ready yet. He still seems so small to already be eating foods. I just wish they could stay small a little longer than they do, not forever just a little longer.
