Nice Weekend

It was a super nice weekend. I sure wish that we could have that weather all of the time. I think that one thing I hate about winter is that it is always so gloomy. However since the weekend was super nice out we did get some things done around the yard. Ken cleaned out all the gutters on the house and the garage. He also got the lawn mowed for probably the last time this season. We wanted to do it so that we can get rid of our lawn mower because next year we are going to get a new one. We have never had a new mower and the one we have is super heavy to push, not to mention it takes a special way to start the mower so I can never mow the grass alone. I just do not know how Ken always started it because it is not an easy pull the string mower. Ken also go the garage cleaned out for the most part so we can start pulling the cars into it before the snow hits. We cleaned up the leaves that fell from the trees for about the tenth time this year already. It seems as if they are all gone now though so that should be the end of it. For the most part I think our yard is ready for winter even thought we are not quite ready yet.
