Great Christmas

We always try to focus on Christmas not being about the gifts around our house. We have always told that kids that Jesus loves us so much that because Christmas is his birthday he allows everyone to celebrate by giving us all gifts. Since everything we are able to give our kids comes from him anyways. This year Ben sung for the first time in the Childrens Christmas program at school. He and his classmates did a super job. It was so cute watching all the little kids sing Away in a Manger. I remember singing the same songs when I was in the Christmas program in school. I thought Ben looked pretty cute standing up there in his "man shirt". He was calling it that because at first he said he did not want to wear a tie and I told him that was what a man wears so then he ended up thinking that it was pretty cool he could be a man like his daddy. Now he does not mind wearing a tie and he always says when I bring it out "Oh am I wearing my man shirt today?".
