Just waiting
Well now we are basically at the waiting point which is the hardest. We are just waiting to save the money for the carpeting for our new room. The walls are painted and it is is for the most part completed except the carpet and the moulding. I wanted to choose to wait until we can pay cash for the carpeting rather than using the credit card and Ken is anxious but willing to wait. We planned on using some of our tax return for the carpet and we did save a little but for the most part we went ahead and paid a few bills instead of saving it for the carpet. We wanted to get one of our loans gone that Ken has out with his dad so that it will be paid in full. I was so happy when I seen that our tax return was deposited into our Texas bank account that I instantly packed up the kids and went to the Monee branch of the Peotone bank and wrote them a check for the remaining balance. The lady there thought I was there just to make a regular payment and was very surprised when I said I wanted to pay the remaining balance off in full. It was such a relief to get that gone for good. It was such a blessing having it yet at the same time a relief to see it go. We have already received the loan document in the mail saying it was paid in full from the bank. We kept it for motivation. We do know what carpet we are going to get it will come from either Menards or Home Depot and we will get the padding from one of Kens friends at work that is going to also install it for us. That is saving us a ton of money. He can get padding for a great price and it is the really good stuff. So now we just wait and be patient.

What a relief! Congratulations. That is definitely a weight off your shoulders. We haven't gotten the tax money yet as Ryan always put it off. We don't know what to do with it but he always have it in the bank for emergencies. We have been really good in paying cash or using the debit card so we are done with it.
