Chores

Ken and I are all about giving chores to the kids. We actually don't even have to make them do it because they both enjoy them so much. I actually wish that we could figure out more chores to give the two of them because when they are finished with their daily work they are always asking me what else they can do to help with the house. They are in charge of a couple things like feeding ant dog and giving him water every day. They also clean up their room and help to put the groceries away when we go to the store. They help carry things in from the van then we buy stuff and they also do more but its hard to remember it all. They do little things that I ask of them all day long. On of the funniest things that Ken and I always laugh about is Maddie putting away the toilet paper. We always buy the scotts because we like it better. It is always usually cheaper in the single rolls than in the multi pack so when we ask her to put the tp aways for some reason she always thinks that she needs to unwrap every roll. So if we buy the whole pack from sam's club we keep most of it in the basement and then she will put a few rolls in the closet but they all need to be out of the package. It took us a while to figure out she always did it this way but Ken spotted her one day doing it then he was laughing at her. She thought she was doing a super job. She really cracks us up sometimes.
I need to find some more chores for them to do. Ken says he never had chores when he was little but I always did. I never liked doing them but for some strange reason my kids love them so I might as well give them some responsibility.
