Last Summer

Last summer we got a cell phone bill in the mail. I usually never open the bills because I know when everything is due and I open it when I am about to pay it off. Well I set the cell phone bill on top of our entertainment center and left it for a day or so until Ken noticed it. Well Ken asks me what came in the mail just about everyday so when I told him all the mail was up there he started to look it all over. Well he noticed the cell phone bill was in my name and that was weird to him. I never noticed whose name the bill was in I just pay it so I never thought anything of it. Well he said the bill is always in his name so this was strange. He opened the bill and to our surprise it was for a cell phone that we did not have. A person stole my information and opened a new cell phone account in my name. Well I'm glad he check the mail because I would have never noticed and probably would have just paid it off. Now I always check my
credit score online as well as my credit report. If they used it one time who is to say they wont try it again with something even bigger. I check it one time a year as does Ken just in case. It is also nice to see our credit score once in a while.
