Nice N Clean

Well this weekend we did just what we wanted to do. I cleaned out the van and used my little green machine on the carpets. It is so nice to have a clean van again. It seems like the kids sure can get it messy with having snacks all the time. It took a while for us to get it done but it was finished on Saturday. Ken was cleaning the car while I was doing the van. Aidan was sitting in the van playing and the other kids were enjoying the warm weather as well. I was glad to get the carpets in the van scrubbed because that sure does make a big difference in how clean it looks. It took about three hours to get them both finished because they were pretty dirty and because we had to stop and take care of the kids in between. I absolutely hate having a van that is dirty. I don't ever want anyone to see inside it when it is not clean. I know that just about everyone with kids has dirty car at one point but I still don't like it at all. It seems like sometimes we have a whole meal in those car seats. On Sunday after we got out of church it started to rain a little bit and I was telling Ken that I was so happy we did all of our cleaning the day before because it was so nice outside. I really wanted to spend Sunday outside as well but it sure was a lot colder than on Saturday and it was raining so we decided to stay in. We got some laundry and house cleaning done. So overall it was a productive weekend.
