Thanksgiving

Well this year for thanksgiving we pretty much decided before we were even invited anywhere that we were going to have dinner at home. It is not really that we did not want to go anywhere but lately Aidan had been pretty crabby because he is teething and it is always so much easier to lay him in his bed to sleep. We did feel a little bad especially when Aunt Amy called and invited us to her house. She usually never calls and usually does not have many functions at her house. I have always loved going to her house because it is always super clean and her house is absolutely beautiful. We also were invited to spend the day with Ken's dads family but also declined the offer. Ken actually had the idea of having the thanksgiving meal at our house and I thought it was a super idea. We are going to have all the fixings and a turkey made on the grill. It sounds yummy to me. This year we are actually doing two thanksgivings because we are having a "thankful for friends" thanksgiving dinner at one of our friends house this Friday. Sounds like a fun time. I always have loved the fellowship of thanksgiving even if we are just staying home this year.
