Always Taking Something

Last year my parents had some problems in their yard. It seemed like people would steal just about anything that they left out in their yard. It was really unusual because they do not live really close to any other houses. The one block of neighbors they do have they know and have known for years. It became a major issue when they stole their car in the middle of the night. They called the police but they really had no advice for them other than to install a security camera to see if was the same people. They were in a sense told to set them up and see if they would steal again. Well my parents did get one but never really got around to putting it up. I was actually thinking at them having a security system of some sort might not be that bad of an idea. They do live close to a major street and those are the houses that get robbed the most often. Maybe for a together gift we will give them that this year. I always used to pretty much consider their house to be protected because they had a big dog but since now they don't have one it might be a good idea to install some extra security.
