A Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving is a classic

Thanks for the post from Bertha Randall
After the dinner is done and the football has been watched I like to watch my favorite Thanksgiving specials on Satellite TV.
A great and classic cartoon special for a child is a Winnie the Pooh Thanksgiving. Winnie the Pooh is a cartoon character created by A.A. Milne. He started the books in 1926. This special was first aired in 1998. It was so well received that it was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award.
The bear and his best friends are based in the 100 acre woods. His friends include, owl, piglet, tigger and rabbit. They all have their own special qualities. Christopher Robin is the boy who loves Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends.
Pooh and all his friends gathered for dinner on Thanksgiving and all of his friends bring the food they were supposed to bring. Rabbit gets upset and lets them know that they are missing very important things for the dinner such as cranberry sauce, turkey and pumpkin pie. What his friends brought is not traditional, but instead, acorns, ice cream, biscuits and honey. So the friends gather together and go out in search of the Thanksgiving traditional food. In the end the friends learn that it's not so much what they are eating but that they share it together & be thankful for everything that they have.
